The Client List

The client list is your working directory of the people and accounts you call on. It is the same client data Rithm uses for scheduling, routing, Targets, and visit planning—whether you open it on the web or in the Rithm mobile app.

Use this page to learn what the client list is, where to open it, and how to search, review, add, and work with clients day to day. Choose Web UI or Mobile UI below for steps that match your screen.

Web UIMobile UI

What is the client list?

On the web, the client list is Rithm’s main Clients screen. It shows everyone in your active Clients view—typically your own territory—along with a map of their locations. Each row is a contact you can open, schedule, call, navigate to, check in on, or update.

Depending on your organization settings, the menu may say Clients or Accounts. The idea is the same: this is your book of people and organizations to visit.

Most users see a modern layout with a Location Map on top and a scrollable client list underneath. Some accounts still use a classic table-and-map layout. Both are covered below.

Where to find it

  1. Sign in to Rithm on the web.
  2. Open the main menu.
  3. Select Clients (or Accounts if that is how your organization is labeled).

The page title at the top is usually the name of your current Clients view (for example, your personal territory). In the top-right area, look for Add when you need to create a new client.

From the client list you can also reach related tools such as Prospects, Bulk Editor, and Import clients (described in the sections below).

How to use the modern client list

The modern Clients screen has two main areas:

  • Location Map — pins for your clients, colored by stage (with a gray style for low-importance clients).
  • Client list sheet — the searchable, filterable table of clients beneath (or over) the map. Drag the handle labeled for adjusting list height if you want more map or more list.

A count such as 12 of 40 clients shows how many clients match your current search and filters.

Understand the map

  1. Look at the Location Map header. It shows how many locations are represented.
  2. Use the route buttons to change what the map emphasizes:
    • All — show your full set of client locations.
    • Show Route: then Today, Tomorrow, or Yesterday — focus the map on clients associated with that day’s route.
  3. If a route day has no scheduled clients, the map may show No clients are scheduled.
  4. Use the map legend to match pin colors to client stages and to identify Low Importance clients.

Browse the list

Each row typically shows:

  • Client — the person and/or account name
  • Location — address information (especially useful on smaller screens)
  • Stage — where the relationship is in your sales process (for example Unaware, Aware, Trial, User, Advocate, or Lost User)
  • Importance — how high a priority the client is for visits
  • Status — visit timing, such as:
    • Overdue — a visit is past due
    • Due Soon — a visit is approaching
    • On Track — visit timing looks healthy
    • Skip / Do not visit — the client is marked so you should not plan visits

Clients with more than one location can expand so you can see each site, including labels such as Primary, ASAP, or Do not visit.

The list is sorted alphabetically by display name (A–Z).

Search for a client

  1. Find the search field with the placeholder Search clients, addresses, phone…
  2. Type part of a name, account, address, or phone number.
  3. The list updates as you type, and the results count updates.
  4. Select the clear (X) control on the search field when you want to return to the full filtered set.

Filter the list

Use the filter buttons above the table:

  • All — every client in the current view (count shown in parentheses).
  • Nearby — clients roughly within about 10 miles who are available today and within your normal importance range.
  • Available — clients available today (based on hours) and within your importance range.

Select More… for additional options:

  • Bulk Editor — change many clients at once (see below).
  • Import clients — bring clients in from a spreadsheet.
  • Filter by:
    • Overdue
    • Due Soon
    • On Track

You may also see:

  • Sales Advisor — if your account includes this feature, opens guided visit advice.
  • Prospects — opens prospecting so you can add nearby potential clients.
  • A team Show: (or similar) filter — if you are allowed to view teammates’ data, switch whose clients you are looking at. You can only add or edit clients in your own personal view, not while viewing someone else’s filtered list.

Open a client’s details

  1. Select the client’s name or open the edit control on the row.
  2. Review the full client profile (contact info, notes, hours, visit settings, and more).
  3. Use the back control in the header to return to the list.

Work with a client without leaving the list

On each row you can often:

  • Navigate — open directions in an external maps app.
  • Check In — record a visit for today. After you complete check-in, the button may show Completed.
  • Schedule — open quick scheduling options, such as:
    • Return in {n} weeks — adds a follow-up based on the client’s usual visit frequency
    • Visit ASAP or Don’t visit ASAP — prioritize (or clear priority for) this week’s routing
    • Schedule meeting… — open the date/time picker to plan a meeting
  • More… — additional actions such as:
    • Navigate
    • Call (or (no phone) if a number is missing)
    • Email (or (no email) if an address is missing)
    • Edit Client
    • Change hours available…
    • Deprioritize — lower the client’s importance
    • Do not visit — mark the client so visits are skipped

When a client has multiple locations, expand the row to see Location Details, Previous visit, Next Visit, and Show call notes (or None when there are no notes).

Add a new client

  1. On the Clients page, select Add in the top-right area.
  2. Enter at least the key identity and location details your organization requires (commonly name and/or account, plus address).
  3. Fill in helpful fields such as Stage, Importance, Phone, Email, Website, Client Notes, Hours available, and visit frequency.
  4. Save the client (look for Save or Save Client, depending on your screen).
  5. If Rithm finds more than one possible match for the address, follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the correct location before finishing.

Tip: If you are viewing another team member’s clients, switch back to your personal view before adding. Rithm only allows new clients in your own account view.

Edit or delete a client

  1. Open the client, or choose Edit Client from the row’s More… menu.
  2. Update the fields you need, then save.
  3. To remove a client, use Delete or Delete Client on the edit/detail screen.
  4. Confirm the prompt carefully. Deletion cannot be undone. If the person has more than one location, the confirmation may ask whether you are deleting the client from this location only.

Import many clients or use prospects

If you are starting from an empty book, or need to grow territory quickly:

  1. Select More…Import clients to upload a spreadsheet, or
  2. Select Prospects to find and add nearby potential clients, or
  3. From an empty-state message, choose options such as:
    • Import clients from a spreadsheet.
    • Pick prospects nearby.
    • Add sample clients. (useful for learning the product; you can delete them later)
    • Import assistance (contact support by email if you need help getting data in)

While an import is running, you may see Clients are still being imported. If something went wrong, you may see There were problems during the import. Use Click here to learn more. to open the import status details.

Make bulk changes

  1. From the client list, open More…Bulk Editor (on the classic layout, use the Bulk Editor button near the bottom of the page).
  2. Under For these clients:, choose which clients the change should apply to (for example all clients, a selected group, a name/account match, or a stage).
  3. Under Do this:, choose the action (list them first to verify, change fields such as Stage or Importance, or delete).
  4. Select Apply and confirm. Changes cannot be undone—listing clients first is the safest habit.

If you have no clients yet

You will see a friendly empty-state message such as You do not have any clients yet! with short guidance to import data, pick prospects, or add sample clients. Follow those buttons to get your first records into Rithm. After that, the map and list become your daily workspace.

If you still see the classic table layout

Some users see an older Clients page: a map plus a traditional data table.

On that layout you can:

  • Search with the table search box and use Clear to reset.
  • Sort by clicking column headers.
  • Open a client by selecting the name.
  • Customize visible fields with Columns to view, then select Update.
  • Use bottom-of-page buttons such as Prospects Nearby and Bulk Editor.
  • Select Add in the header to create a client.

Default columns often include Name, Account, Stage, Address, Phone, Email, and Client Notes. You can add many more columns (Importance, visit cadence fields, city/state/zip, last visited, custom fields, and others) through Columns to view.

If your account offers it, a small Show Beta View control switches you to the modern map-and-sheet experience described above.

What is the client list?

In the Rithm iPhone app, the client list is the Clients tab. It is your on-the-go directory of the same clients you manage on the web. Tap any row to open Client details, where you can call, get directions, check in, edit information, and review visit history.

This list is built for quick finding and opening. Advanced bulk tools (spreadsheet import, bulk editor, team-wide filters) are available in the Rithm Web App; the mobile list focuses on searching, reviewing, adding one client at a time, mapping, and day-of fieldwork.

Where to find it

  1. Open the Rithm app and sign in.
  2. On the bottom tab bar, tap Clients (people-group icon).

The screen title is Clients.

Note: When the app opens, it may land on Schedule by default. Switch to the Clients tab whenever you need the full list.

Related places that use the same client data:

  • Targets tab — the same clients grouped by importance
  • Schedule — planned visits that link back to client details
  • Clients map — full-screen map of your clients (opened from the Clients tab)

How to use the Clients tab

Browse the list

Each row shows:

  • Line 1: the client name, and the organization/account in parentheses when both exist (or whichever of the two is available)
  • Line 2: the address

Clients below your low-importance threshold appear in lighter text so high-priority accounts stand out.

The list is sorted A–Z automatically (by name when present, otherwise by organization). There is no separate sort menu on this screen.

Unlike the web client list, the mobile Clients tab does not show stage, importance, or overdue status columns on every row. Open a client (or use the Targets tab) when you need those details at a glance.

Search for a client

  1. At the top of the Clients tab, use the search field with placeholder Client name…
  2. Type part of the client name or organization.
  3. Matching rows remain; others are hidden.
  4. Tap Cancel on the search bar to clear the search and dismiss the keyboard.

Useful details:

  • Search matches name or organization (not address or phone on this screen).
  • While you are searching, the bottom buttons (Clients map and Prospects nearby) are hidden so the list stays uncluttered. Clear search to bring them back.
  • If you open a client and then return, your search text is kept. If you leave the Clients tab entirely and come back later, search is cleared.

Refresh the list

  1. On the Clients list, pull down and release.
  2. Wait while Rithm shows Retrieving Clients information…
  3. The list reloads from the server so recent web changes appear on your phone.

You must be logged in. If you are not, the Clients tab shows Not currently logged in. and most actions stay disabled until you sign in.

Open a client

  1. Tap a row.
  2. The Client details screen opens.
  3. Use the back control (often labeled Clients) to return to the list.

From Client details you can:

  • Use header buttons for Sales Advisor (when available), Directions, Phone, and Check In / Checked In
  • Review Stage, Importance rank, Type, Address, Phone, eMail, Website, Client Notes, Hours available, visit settings, and last visit information
  • Tap Show meetings to see planned or past meetings for that client
  • Tap Edit to change or delete the client

If a client has multiple locations, or multiple clients share a location, disclosure controls such as Show N client locations or Show N clients at this location let you switch among them.

Add a client

  1. On the Clients tab, tap the + button in the top-right toolbar.
  2. The Add Client form opens.
  3. Enter a Name and/or Account, plus an Address (both identity and address are required before Save becomes available).
  4. Optionally set Stage, Importance, Type, Phone number, eMail, Website, Notes, Hours available, visit frequency, minutes per visit, virtual preferences, appointment-only, timezone, and vacation dates.
  5. Tap Save (checkmark) when it is enabled.
  6. Tap Cancel (X) if you decide not to keep the new record.

Business card shortcut: On the Add or Edit screen, tap the business-card toolbar button to Scan business card. Review the scanned fields on Review Card, confirm which fields to keep, then Save. After a successful new-client save from a card, Rithm may take you straight to that client’s details.

Tip: Large imports, sample data, and prospecting are easiest on the web. If your list is empty, the app explains that and offers a path into the web tools (see empty state below).

Edit a client

  1. Open the client from the list.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Change fields on the Edit Client screen.
  4. Tap Save. Save stays disabled until something has actually changed and required fields are present.

While saving, you may briefly see Sending Clients information…

Delete a client

  1. Open the client → Edit.
  2. Scroll to Delete.
  3. Confirm with Yes on the warning that the action cannot be undone.
  4. If the client has multiple locations, the confirmation asks whether you want to delete the client from this location, and shows the name and address so you can verify.

There are no swipe-to-delete actions on the Clients list itself. Deletion is always done from Edit Client.

Use Clients map and Prospects nearby

When search is empty, two buttons appear at the bottom of the Clients tab:

  • Clients map — opens a full-screen map of your clients. Pins are colored by stage. Tap a pin to review details and edit notes (for example visit takeaways), then Save or cancel.
  • Prospects nearby — opens Rithm’s web prospecting tool in Safari so you can find and add nearby prospects. When you return to the app, the Clients list refreshes so new additions appear.

Both require you to be logged in.

Toolbar extras on the Clients tab

  • Sales Advisor (sparkle icon, top-left) — opens visit guidance when your account includes this feature.
  • Sticky-note icon (top-right) — create a new sticky note without leaving Clients.
  • + — add a client.

If you have no clients yet

When the app loads and finds zero clients, a sheet explains what to do:

  • Headline: You don’t have any clients yet!
  • Guidance that you can import a spreadsheet, find prospects, or add sample clients in the Rithm Web App.
  • Reminder that you can also add individual clients in the app with the (+) button on the Clients tab.
  • Button: Add clients in the Rithm Web App — opens the web flow in Safari, then refreshes clients when you return.
  • Button: Continue to the Clients tab — dismisses the sheet so you can use + yourself.

How the mobile client list differs from the web

  • Layout: Mobile is a simple searchable list plus optional full-screen map. Web combines a live Location Map with a richer table, status columns, and in-list actions.
  • Search: Mobile searches name and organization. Web also searches addresses and phone numbers.
  • Filters: Mobile Clients tab has search only (use Targets for importance grouping). Web offers All, Nearby, Available, and status filters such as Overdue / Due Soon / On Track.
  • Row actions: Web can Check In, Schedule, Navigate, Call, Email, Deprioritize, and more from the list. Mobile opens Client details first for those fieldwork actions.
  • Adding many clients: Spreadsheet import, sample clients, and bulk editing are web tools. Mobile points you to the web when your book is empty, and supports one-by-one add (including business card scan).
  • Prospects: Both platforms can reach prospecting; on mobile, Prospects nearby opens the web experience inside Safari and then refreshes your local list.
  • Team views: Switching among teammates’ client books is a web feature. The mobile Clients tab shows the clients available to your signed-in account.

Once a client exists in either place, it is shared. Add or edit on the web, pull to refresh on the phone (or reopen Clients), and the updated record is ready for your next visit.
