Target List is your priority board for the people and accounts you sell to. It is not a separate list you build from scratch. Every client already in Rithm appears here, grouped by Importance—a rank from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest).
Think of Importance as “how much this account deserves your time.” Your highest-value relationships live near the top. Lower-priority accounts sit further down. That ranking helps you decide who to call, visit, or schedule next—and it also feeds features like Auto-Scheduler, which prefer higher-importance clients when building a route.
What Target List is good for
- Seeing your book of business at a glance, sorted by priority
- Quickly raising or lowering a client’s Importance when priorities change
- Spotting who is overdue for a visit (on web, and via quick actions on mobile)
- Jumping into a call, directions, or the full client record without hunting through a long alphabetical list
What Target List is not
- It is not a second copy of your clients. Changing Importance here updates the same client record everywhere in Rithm.
- It is not the same as Pipeline. Pipeline groups people by sales stage (where they are in the buying process). Target List groups them by Importance (how much they matter for your time).
- You do not “create a target” as a special object. You add clients (or prospects), set Importance, and they appear in the matching section.
How Importance works
- 10 is the highest priority and is labeled Very Important.
- Lower numbers mean lower priority. Clients marked as Do not visit (Importance 0) do not appear on Target List on mobile, and are not something you set from the Target List Importance controls (those offer ranks 1–10).
- New clients often start at a middle-to-high default Importance (commonly 5 or 8, depending on how they were added). You can change that anytime from Target List.
Use the tabs below for step-by-step instructions on the Web UI and the Mobile UI (iPhone/iPad app). The goal is the same on both; the screens and controls differ in a few important ways.
Where to find Target List (Web)
- Sign in to Rithm in your browser.
- Open the main menu.
- Select Target List.
The page title is normally Target List. If you are viewing a specific territory or region, the title may read Target List for [region] (or a shorter Targets – [region] if the full title would be too long).
You need permission to use Target List. If you do not have access, you will see a message that you need permission for this feature. If your subscription has ended, you will also be blocked until it is renewed.
What you see on the page
From top to bottom, the Target List page typically includes:
1. Client distribution chart
A chart titled Number of clients by importance summarizes how many people you have at each Importance level. It may also show completed visits (and, if your account allows it, scheduled visits). This is a snapshot of balance across your book—not a place where you edit individual clients.
2. Summary cards (these also act as filters)
Four cards give quick totals. Clicking a card filters the list to match:
- Total Targets — everyone currently shown as a target on this page
- Overdue — clients whose next visit is overdue based on their visit frequency
- Due Soon — clients who have been visited before, are not overdue yet, but it has been more than about two weeks since the last visit
- High Priority (9-10) — clients ranked Importance 9 or 10
3. Search and filter bar
- Search targets… — type part of a name, address, or organization. Results update as you type. A count such as 12 of 40 targets shows how many match.
- Filter buttons:
- All — show everyone
- Nearby — roughly within about 10 miles of your current location, available today (based on their hours), and within the Importance range your Auto-Scheduler settings care about
- Available — available today by hours, within that Importance range
- More… — opens extra options (see below)
- Sales Advisor (if enabled for your account) — opens an AI assistant chat for sales coaching and ideas related to your work
- Prospects — takes you to prospecting so you can find nearby prospects and save them into your client list (they then appear on Target List by Importance)
- If you manage a team, you may also see a Show: control to switch whose data you are viewing (for example, only your personal data vs. team territory data)
Under More… you will find:
- Bulk edit — edit many clients at once, then return to Target List
- Import clients — bring clients in from a spreadsheet or import flow, then return to Target List
- Filter by
- High priority (9-10)
- Overdue
- Due Soon
- On track — clients whose visit status is healthy (not overdue / due soon)
4. A short how-to hint
- On a desktop-sized browser: Drag targets between sections to change importance levels
- On a phone-sized browser: Swipe cards left or tap the 3-dot icon to Call, Navigate, or change importance.
5. Importance sections
Clients are grouped into collapsible sections:
- Importance 10 (subtitle: Very Important)
- Importance 9
- Importance 8
- Importance 7
- Importance 6
- Importance 5 or less — everyone at Importance 5 down through lower ranks in one combined section
Each section header shows a count badge. Click the header (or the chevron) to expand or collapse. Empty sections show None.
6. Target cards
Each client appears as a card with:
- Name (and organization in parentheses when relevant)
- Address
- Sales stage
- Visit status badge when attention is needed: Overdue or Due Soon (healthy “on track” clients typically do not show an On Track badge on the card)
- A Prospect label when the type is Prospect
- Quick actions: Call, Navigate, and Move (to change Importance)
Clicking the main part of the card opens the full Client detail page. When you leave that page, you return to Target List.
How to use Target List (Web)
Review your priorities
- Open Target List.
- Start with Importance 10 and work downward.
- Use the summary cards or filters if you want a focused view (for example, only Overdue or High Priority (9-10)).
- Use search when you know who you are looking for.
A practical habit: each morning, glance at Overdue and High Priority (9-10) first, then decide who to call or visit.
Change a client’s Importance (desktop browser)
- Find the client’s card.
- Drag the card into a different Importance section (for example, from Importance 7 into Importance 9).
- Release the mouse. Rithm saves the new Importance.
- The card appears at the top of the section you dropped it into.
You do not need a separate Save button for this change.
Change a client’s Importance (phone or tablet browser)
- Find the client’s card.
- Swipe the card left, or tap the 3-dot (Actions) icon.
- Tap Move.
- In the Move importance dialog, choose the new rank (Importance 10 through Importance 1). The current rank is marked (current).
- Tap Cancel if you change your mind and do not want to move them.
After a successful move, the card jumps to the matching section (and into Importance 5 or less if you choose 5 or below).
Call a client
- On desktop, use the Call button on the card (if a phone number is on file).
- On a phone-sized browser, swipe left or open the 3-dot menu, then tap Call.
- If there is no phone number, Call is not available as an active action.
Get directions
- Use Navigate the same way (card button, or swipe / 3-dot menu).
- Navigate opens your mapping / navigation link when an address or coordinates are available.
- If location data is missing, Navigate is not available as an active action.
Open full client details
Click the card (name/address area). From Client detail you can edit fields, notes, hours, visit settings, and more. Target List itself is optimized for ranking and quick actions—not full editing of every field.
Add people so they appear on Target List
Target List does not have a dedicated “Add target” form. Add clients elsewhere, then they show up here automatically by Importance:
- More… → Import clients — import from a file
- Prospects — find and save nearby prospects
- More… → Bulk edit — update many existing clients at once
- Or add clients from the normal Clients area of Rithm
After they are saved as clients, return to Target List and place them at the right Importance.
Understand visit status at a glance
- Overdue — based on weeks since last visit compared with the client’s visit frequency (with a small buffer). These people likely need attention soon.
- Due Soon — visited before, not overdue yet, but more than about 14 days since the last visit.
- On track — filter option for clients who are in good shape on visit timing.
Tips for new salespeople
- Keep your true A-accounts in 9–10. If everything is a 10, nothing is a 10.
- Use Importance 5 or less for lower priority or early-stage accounts you still want on file.
- After a big win or a lost deal, update Importance the same day so Auto-Scheduler and your own planning stay honest.
- Target List and Pipeline answer different questions: “Who matters most?” vs. “Where are they in the sales process?” Use both.
Where to find Target List (iPhone / iPad)
- Open the Rithm app and sign in.
- Tap the Targets tab in the bottom tab bar (person-in-circle icon).
- The screen title is Target List.
On iPhone and iPad, the tab label is Targets, while the screen title is Target List. That is normal.
From Target List, the top bar also includes:
- A sparkle-style control for Sales Advisor (same idea as on web: an AI sales assistant)
- A sticky-note control to create a new sticky note
There is no “+” add-client button on Target List. Adding people is done from the Clients tab (or via the web app).
What you see on Mobile
iPhone layout
Clients are listed in collapsible groups:
- Importance 10 — Very Important
- Importance 9 — Important
- Importance 8
- Importance 7
- Importance 6
- Importance 5 — Average
- Importance 4 — Below Average
- Importance 3
- Importance 2
- Importance 1 — Not Important
Only Importance levels that currently have at least one client appear. Empty levels are hidden (unlike the web page, which always shows sections through “Importance 5 or less,” including empty ones with None).
By default, Importance 10–6 tend to start expanded, and 5–1 tend to start collapsed. Tap a section header to expand or collapse it. A count badge shows how many clients are in that group.
Within a group, clients are sorted A–Z by name (or organization if there is no name).
iPad layout
Target List uses a split view:
- Left side: Importance levels
- Right side: the clients for the selected level
Select an Importance row on the left to browse that group on the right.
Each client row
A typical row shows:
- Name (and organization in parentheses when both exist)
- Address
- An Importance menu showing the current number (10 … 1)
- An info button (square info icon) for quick actions
Tap the name/address to open Client details. The back control returns you to Targets.
How to use Target List (Mobile)
Review your priorities
- Open the Targets tab.
- Expand Importance 10, then work down.
- Tap anyone you want to review in full Client details.
Mobile Target List does not include the web page’s search box, summary filter cards, Nearby/Available filters, Bulk edit, Import, or Prospects button. Those workflows live elsewhere in the app or on the web.
Change a client’s Importance
This is the main day-to-day action on mobile Target List.
- Find the client in their current Importance group.
- Tap the Importance number menu on the row (values 10 down to 1).
- Choose the new Importance.
- Rithm saves the change automatically.
- The client moves into the matching group (and the list scrolls to help you see where they landed). They may appear near the top of that group until the list fully refreshes.
There is no confirmation dialog for Importance changes. If the save fails, the menu reverts to the previous value and you may see an Application Error message.
Difference from web: On web you drag cards between sections (desktop) or use Move after a swipe / 3-dot menu (phone browser). In the iOS app, you change Importance with the on-row number menu—there is no drag-and-drop between sections.
Call a client
- Tap the info icon on the row.
- If a phone number exists, tap Call.
- Your phone dialer opens.
If there is no phone number, Call will not appear.
Get directions
- Tap the info icon on the row.
- Tap Directions (when available).
- Directions open in the app you chose in Settings (for example Waze or Apple Maps).
Naming difference: Web uses Navigate. The iOS app uses Directions. Both get you on the road to the client.
See stage and overdue at a glance
Open the same info menu to see:
- Current sales stage (display only on this menu)
- Overdue! when the visit is overdue (display only on this menu)
Difference from web: Web shows Overdue / Due Soon badges on the cards and offers filters for those statuses. On iOS Target List, overdue appears inside the info menu as Overdue!, and there is no separate Due Soon badge or filter bar on this screen.
Open and edit full client details
- Tap the client’s name/address.
- Review Client details (stage, Importance rank, type, notes, hours, visit settings, and more).
- Tap Edit in the toolbar to change fields, including Importance with a slider if you prefer editing from the form.
- Save with the checkmark (Save), or dismiss with x (Cancel).
Deleting a client is not done from the Target List row. From Client details → Edit → Delete, confirm with Yes. Deletion cannot be undone.
Add clients so they appear on Target List
If you have no clients yet, Target List can show a helpful empty state:
- You don’t have any clients yet!
- Guidance to import a spreadsheet, find prospects, or add sample clients in the Rithm Web App
- Guidance to add individuals in the app with the (+) button on the Clients tab
- Button: Add clients in the Rithm Web App
- Button: Continue to the Clients tab
Once clients exist, they automatically appear under their Importance on Target List. There is no separate “create target list” step.
Sales Advisor and sticky notes
Use the toolbar icons on Target List to open Sales Advisor or create a sticky note—handy while you are reviewing priorities.
Loading and errors
- While data is loading, you may see Retrieving Clients information…
- Problems may appear under Application Error
- If your subscription has expired, follow the on-screen restart/subscription guidance

Tips for new salespeople on mobile
- Use Target List as your “who matters most today” board while you are in the field.
- After a strong meeting, raise Importance before you forget.
- Use the info menu for fast Call / Directions, then open Client details only when you need notes or a full edit.
- When you need search, bulk changes, import, or prospecting from the same screen, switch to the Web UI—those tools are richer there.
- Keep Pipeline for stage progress; keep Target List for priority. Together they answer “Where is this deal?” and “How important is this account?”
