Sales Advisor is your in-app AI sales coach. It is built for outside salespeople who need quick, practical help while they work—before a visit, between calls, or when planning the day.
You chat with Sales Advisor in plain language, the same way you might ask a colleague for advice. It can:
- Offer practical sales coaching (how to prepare for a meeting, follow up, handle objections, prioritize your day, and more)
- Answer questions about your clients and your schedule in Rithm
- Look up client details and meeting information so you do not have to dig through lists yourself
- Search the web when useful (for example, when building a call plan or gathering background)
- Suggest next steps with quick-reply buttons you can tap to continue the conversation
- Show profile cards with researched client information you can review and, if you choose, save into a client record
- Show appointment cards you can accept to add a meeting to your calendar, or reject if the suggestion is not right
Sales Advisor is designed to be concise and useful in the field. It is not a replacement for your judgment. At the bottom of the chat you will see a reminder that Sales Advisor can make mistakes. Check important info. Always verify names, times, contact details, and anything you plan to act on before you save a profile or accept an appointment.
Who can use it? You need to be signed in to Rithm, and your account must include access to Sales Advisor. If you do not see Sales Advisor in the app, ask your administrator to enable it for you.
What it is not: Sales Advisor is separate from Auto-Scheduler’s personalized visit recommendations. Auto-Scheduler helps optimize which clients to visit and when. Sales Advisor is the conversational coach you open when you want advice, answers, or help with a specific client or day.
Where to find it (Web)
You can open Sales Advisor from several places in the web app. The chat experience is the same; only how you get there changes.
Home
- Sign in to Rithm on the web.
- Go to Home.
- Find the Sales Advisor widget on the Home page.
- You can type and chat directly in the widget.
- Use the History link in the widget header when you want to revisit past conversations.
Clients, Target List, and Pipeline
- Open Clients, Target List, or Pipeline from the main navigation.
- Look for the yellow Sales Advisor button (with the Rithm “A” icon).
- Click it to open the Sales Advisor chat in a modal window.
Calendar (Schedule)
- Open Schedule (Calendar).
- Click the Sales Advisor button in the calendar header (icon plus label on desktop; icon-only on smaller screens, with the label Sales Advisor available to screen readers).
- The Sales Advisor modal opens over your calendar.
Client detail — Sales Advisor insights
When you are looking at a specific client and want help focused on that person:
- Open a client from Clients (client detail page).
- Click the Sales Advisor insights control (ghost icon button).
- Sales Advisor opens and automatically starts looking into additional details for that client.
You can also reach Sales Advisor insights from the calendar after opening a client popup: choose Sales Advisor insights from the client options.
Chat history pages
- From any open Sales Advisor chat (widget or modal), click History.
- That takes you to Sales Advisor History, a list of your past chats.
- Click a conversation to open Sales Advisor Chat and review it.
- If the chat is yours, use Continue chat > to resume it in the Home Sales Advisor widget.
How to use it (Web)
Open a conversation
- Open Sales Advisor from Home, Clients, Target List, Pipeline, Calendar, or Sales Advisor insights on a client.
- On Home, chat in the widget. Elsewhere, a modal titled Sales Advisor appears.
- In the modal header you will see:
- Back — closes the chat
- The title Sales Advisor
- History — opens your past conversations
- When you open a new chat, Sales Advisor greets you (often with your first name) and invites you to ask for help boosting sales, getting answers, or spotting what needs attention.
Ask a question
- Click the message field. The placeholder reads How can I help you today?
- Type your question in everyday language. Examples:
- “What’s on my schedule today?”
- “Tell me about [client name]”
- “Help me prepare for my meeting with [client name]”
- “Who should I prioritize this week?”
- “Draft a follow-up after today’s visit”
- Send your message by:
- Clicking the up-arrow Send message button, or
- Pressing Enter (use Shift+Enter if you need a new line without sending), or
- Using Ctrl+Enter / Cmd+Enter
- The send button stays disabled until there is text in the field.
- While Sales Advisor works, you may see status messages such as Working…, Preparing answer…, Getting client details…, Checking Schedule, Searching the web…, and similar progress lines. If a reply takes longer, you may see Still working…, Thinking…, Almost there…, and related messages.
- The reply streams in as it is written. You may see formatted text, lists, tables, or charts.
Use quick-reply buttons
Sometimes Sales Advisor shows suggestion buttons under a reply. Click a button to send that follow-up automatically. This is a fast way to continue without retyping.
Review and save a profile card
When Sales Advisor researches a person, it may show a profile card with a photo (when available), name, organization, specialties, bio, and more.
- Read the summary on the card.
- Click Show more to expand details such as Languages, Practice Locations, Education & Training, Affiliations, Focus areas, and Profile pages. Click Show less to collapse them.
- If the information looks correct and you want it in Rithm, click Save.
- The button may show Saving, then Saved client profile. If something goes wrong, you may see Error saving.
- Saved content can be added to the client record, including a notes block marked — From Sales Advisor —.
Only save a profile after you have reviewed it. You need permission to edit clients for Save to succeed.
Accept or reject an appointment card
Sales Advisor may suggest a meeting as an appointment card showing Date, Time, Duration (in minutes), and Client (or No client if none is linked).
- Check that the date, time, duration, and client are correct.
- Click Accept to save the meeting to your calendar. Success shows Saved to calendar. Default meeting notes may read Client meeting from the Sales Advisor.
- Click Reject if you do not want that suggestion.
- If Accept fails, you may see Could not save. You need calendar edit permission to accept appointments.
Copy, feedback, and charts
Under assistant replies you can:
- Copy the reply
- Mark it Helpful or Not Helpful (thumbs feedback)
If a reply includes a chart (SVG), click it to Enlarge chart, then Close when you are done.
Use History and continue a chat
- Click History in the Sales Advisor header (widget or modal).
- On Sales Advisor History, browse past conversations. Relative times such as Just now, minutes, hours, or days may appear next to each preview.
- If you have no history yet, you will see: This area will show the history of chats with the Sales Advisor.
- Open a conversation to read it on Sales Advisor Chat.
- Click Continue chat > to pick up where you left off in the Home widget.
Tips for everyday use (Web)
- Ask in plain language. You do not need special commands.
- Prefer client names over internal IDs when you ask questions.
- Use Sales Advisor insights from a client page when you want help focused on that client.
- Always double-check important facts before acting.
- Use Save and Accept only when the card looks right.
- If Sales Advisor is missing from your screens, your account may not include Sales Advisor access—contact your administrator.
Where to find it (iOS)
On the Rithm iPhone app, Sales Advisor opens as a sheet titled Sales Advisor. Look for the sparkle icon (or the sparkles button on a client’s detail screen). There is no separate Sales Advisor tab, and the iOS app does not include a chat History screen like the website.
Clients tab
- Sign in to the Rithm app.
- Tap Clients in the tab bar.
- In the top toolbar, tap the sparkle icon (accessibility label: Sales Advisor).
- The Sales Advisor sheet opens.
The sparkle control is disabled when you are signed out.
Targets tab
- Tap Targets in the tab bar (screen title: Target List).
- Tap the sparkle icon in the toolbar (Sales Advisor).
- The Sales Advisor sheet opens.
Schedule tab
- Tap Schedule in the tab bar.
- Tap the sparkle icon in the leading toolbar (near route mode controls).
- Sales Advisor opens as a sheet over the Schedule screen.
Client detail
- Open a client from Clients or Targets.
- In the header action row (with Directions, Phone, and Check-in), tap the circular sparkles button (Sales Advisor).
- The Sales Advisor sheet opens.
Note: On iOS, opening Sales Advisor from a client’s detail screen does not automatically send that client’s context the way Sales Advisor insights does on the web. Mentions the client by name in your question if you want advice focused on that person (for example, “Help me prepare for my visit with Dr. Smith”).
How to use it (iOS)
Open a conversation
- Sign in, then open Sales Advisor from Clients, Targets, Schedule, or a client detail screen.
- A sheet appears titled Sales Advisor, usually starting at about half screen height. You can drag it larger (half and full-height detents). As the conversation grows, the sheet may expand automatically.
- Tap the X (Close) to dismiss, or swipe down in the usual way. Closing cancels any reply still in progress.
- When the sheet opens, Sales Advisor requests an opening message and may show Working… while it prepares. You do not need to type first.
If you are not signed in, you will see Sign in to use Sales Advisor.
Ask a question
- Tap the field at the bottom. The prompt reads How can I help you today?
- Type your question. Examples:
- “What’s on my schedule today?”
- “Tell me about [client name]”
- “Help me prepare for my meeting with [client name]”
- “Who needs attention this week?”
- “Suggest a follow-up after today’s visit”
- Press Return on the keyboard to send. On iOS there is no separate Send button—Return sends the message.
- Your message appears on the right; Sales Advisor replies on the left (with a sparkle avatar).
- While waiting, you may see Working…, then rotating messages such as Still working…, Working on it…, Thinking…, Almost there…, Almost done…, or Creating response…. Live status from the server can also appear briefly.
- Replies stream in as text. You may also see quick-reply buttons, profile cards, or appointment cards.
Sending a new message while a reply is still loading cancels the previous request and starts the new one.
Use quick-reply buttons
Blue capsule buttons may appear under a reply. Tap one to send that choice as your next message. This is the fastest way to continue a suggested path.
Review and save a profile card
When Sales Advisor presents researched client information:
- Review the photo (or placeholder), name, organization, specialties, role, and bio.
- Tap Show more / Show less for expanded sections such as Languages, Practice Locations, Education & Training, Affiliations, Focus areas, and Profile pages (links may be tappable).
- If the information looks correct, tap Save.
- You will see Saving, then Saved client profile on success, or Error saving (you can tap to retry).
- Save appears when you are signed in and the profile data is available to save.
Always review the card before saving. Saved content can update the client record in Rithm.
Accept or reject an appointment card
Appointment cards show suggested meeting details:
- Title / notes (default if empty: Client meeting from the Sales Advisor)
- Date:
- Time:
- Duration: (for example, 30 min)
- Client: (name, organization, or No client)
Then:
- Tap Accept to save the meeting to your calendar. Success shows Saved to calendar. Your Schedule can refresh, and the app may jump to the meeting’s date when it can parse one.
- Tap Reject to dismiss the card if you do not want that suggestion. Reject only hides the card on your device; it does not create a calendar entry.
- If Accept fails, an alert titled Sales Advisor may appear (for example, Sign in to save this appointment. or Could not save). Tap OK.
Close and start fresh
- Tap Close (X) or dismiss the sheet when you are done.
- Conversations are not kept on screen after you close the sheet. The next time you open Sales Advisor, you get a new chat and a new opening message.
- Unlike the website, the iOS app does not offer a History list or Continue chat flow. Use the web app if you need to review or resume older Sales Advisor conversations.
Tips and differences from the website (iOS)
- Look for the sparkle icon—that is Sales Advisor on mobile.
- Send with Return; there is no Send arrow button like on the web.
- There is no History screen on iOS.
- Opening from a client does not auto-start “insights” for that client; name the client in your question.
- Keep messages reasonably short. Very long messages may fail because of mobile request length limits; shorten the text and try again.
- Stay signed in and connected to the network. If the connection drops or a reply times out, you may see messages such as Network unavailable. Check your connection and try again. or a timeout asking you to try again.
- Sales Advisor can make mistakes—check important information before you save profiles or accept appointments.
- Do not confuse Sales Advisor with Auto-Scheduler’s Personalized recommendations; that is a different feature that also uses sparkle-style branding.
Quick comparison: Web vs Mobile
| Web | iOS | |
|---|---|---|
| How you open it | Home widget; yellow Sales Advisor on Clients, Target List, Pipeline, Calendar; Sales Advisor insights on a client | Sparkle icon on Clients, Targets, Schedule, and client detail |
| Chat History | Yes — History, list, and Continue chat > | Not available on iOS |
| Sending a message | Send button or Enter / Ctrl+Enter / Cmd+Enter | Return key only |
| Client-focused start | Sales Advisor insights can auto-start for that client | Open from client detail, then ask about the client by name |
| Profile & appointment cards | Save profile; Accept / Reject appointment | Same idea: Save; Accept / Reject |
| Reminder | Sales Advisor can make mistakes — check important info | Same caution applies |
Getting the most out of Sales Advisor
Whether you are on the web or on your iPhone, Sales Advisor works best when you:
- Ask clear, specific questions — “Prep me for my 2pm with Dr. Lee” is better than “help.”
- Use it before and after visits — preparation, talking points, and follow-ups.
- Let it use your Rithm data — ask about your clients and schedule so answers stay grounded in your territory.
- Act on cards carefully — review profile and appointment cards, then Save or Accept only when they look right.
- Trust, but verify — treat Sales Advisor as a sharp assistant, not the final authority on facts, times, or commitments.
If you cannot find Sales Advisor, cannot open the chat, or cannot save to clients or calendar, check that you are signed in and that your administrator has granted Sales Advisor (and, for saves, client/calendar edit) access for your account.
