Managing my subscription

Your Rithm subscription is what keeps your account active so you can schedule meetings, manage clients, and use the rest of Rithm’s sales tools. Managing it means checking your plan status, updating how you pay, reviewing invoices, canceling if you need to stop, restarting if access has ended, or—only when you truly want it—erasing your account and personal data.

This page walks through the full process for both the web app and the iPhone app. On both platforms, the important billing and payment screens open from inside Rithm; you do not need a separate billing account to get started.

Managing your subscription is the set of screens and actions that let you:

  • See which Rithm product you are on (for example, Professional or a free trial)
  • See when your subscription renews, or when it will end
  • Update your credit card and other payment details
  • Update billing contact information (such as billing email, phone, or address)
  • View and download invoices
  • Cancel your plan while keeping your Rithm data
  • Subscribe or restart if a trial or paid period has ended
  • Erase your account entirely (web only in most mobile flows—see Mobile UI)

Who can manage billing?

SituationWhat you can do
You pay for the subscriptionFull access: view status, open Billing, subscribe/restart, and (on web) erase your account
A teammate or company owner paysYou may see that another team member manages billing. You can still erase your own account data on the web if needed, but you cannot change the company payment method
Account admin / owner with billing permissionOn the web, you may also reach billing from User Accounts via Manage billing

If someone else pays for your seat, ask that person (or your company owner) before changing plans or payment methods.

Web UIMobile UI

Where to find it in the Web UI

  1. Sign in to Rithm in your browser.
  2. Open Settings from the main menu.
  3. Under Account, select Manage Subscription.

You arrive on the page titled Manage Your Subscription.

Other useful entry points

  • Settings → Account details → Manage Subscription
Account details also shows whether you manage billing or another user does, and may include a Manage button that opens Billing directly.
  • User Accounts → Manage billing (if your role allows it)
Shown with a short list of what Billing can do: invoices, payment methods, and billing info.
  • Company edit screens → Manage billing (same permission)
  • Trial reminder banners (when a free trial is ending and no card is on file) → Add a payment method
  • Feature upgrade prompts (for example, Auto-Scheduler) → Upgrade to Professional
  • If access has expired, Rithm may send you to Manage Your Subscription automatically

How to use it (Web UI)

1. Review your subscription status

On Manage Your Subscription you will typically see:

  • Current Product — the plan or role name for your account (for example, Professional). If access has ended, an Expired label may appear.
  • Subscription Renews or Subscription End Date
  • Subscription Renews usually appears while the plan is active and will bill again.
  • Subscription End Date appears when the subscription is canceling, canceled, or past due.
  • Date text such as:
  • A calendar date (next renewal or end date)
  • (Not set)
  • (Currently never ends) — for accounts that are paid in full / do not expire
  • Subscription expired on {date}
  • Billing questions? — a support link when billing details apply
  • An Account section with Name, Email, Status, and sometimes Quantity (number of seats)

Status messages you might see

  • A normal active status (shown as capitalized status text)
  • Free trial has ended
  • Subscription ended – Make payment to restart
  • Deleted — if the account was erased
  • Free-trial messaging such as:
You have {days} days remaining in your Free Trial. Please purchase a subscription to continue using Rithm.
    or
Your {num}-day Free Trial has ended.

If you are on a team seat and do not own the subscription record, you may see: Another team member manages billing.

2. Open Billing (cards, invoices, cancel plan, billing info)

  1. On Manage Your Subscription, select Billing.
Or from Account details, select Manage (when you manage billing).
Or from User Accounts, select Manage billing.
  2. Rithm opens a secure Billing area in your browser.
  3. When you are finished, use the return path back to Settings (or the page you came from).

In Billing you can typically:

  • View subscription details for your current plan
  • Update payment methods — add or remove cards so renewals succeed
  • Update billing information — billing email, phone, address, and related details as shown
  • View invoice history and download invoices for your records or expense reports
  • Cancel Plan — stop the subscription while keeping your Rithm data (see below)

Treat Billing as the place for anything related to paying for Rithm. The Manage Subscription page is the place to see status and choose high-level actions like Subscribe, Restart, Billing, or Erase Account.

3. Update your credit card or payment method

  1. Go to Settings → Manage Subscription → Billing.
  2. In Billing, open payment methods.
  3. Add a new card (card number, expiration, security code, and any required billing details).
  4. Remove an old card if it is no longer needed.
  5. Confirm the card you want used for renewals is set as the default when that option is shown.
  6. Return to Rithm when finished.

Tips for novices

  • Update the card before the renewal date if your card is expiring.
  • If a renewal fails, open Billing, fix the payment method, then check whether access resumes or whether you need Subscribe / Restart Subscription on the manage page.
  • Keep the billing email accurate so invoices and payment notices reach the right person.

4. Add a payment method during a free trial

If you are on a trial and it is within about the last 10 days, and no payment method is on file yet, Rithm may show a reminder such as:

Your trial ends in {num} days. Keep your access uninterrupted. Add a payment method
You won’t be charged until your trial ends.

Select Add a payment method to open Billing and save a card. After a valid payment method is on file, you may see a thank-you style confirmation that you are set up for when the trial ends.

5. Subscribe or restart after a trial or paid period ends

When the manage page offers it, select:

  • Subscribe — common during or after a free trial, or when status shows the subscription ended and payment is needed
  • Restart Subscription — common when the subscription has expired and Rithm can restart using prior plan details

What happens next:

  1. Rithm takes you through a secure checkout to enter payment details and complete the purchase.
  2. Follow the on-screen steps. New purchases often continue into account email confirmation and verification.
  3. Restarting an existing account may show a shorter thank-you flow with Let’s get started.

After a successful payment, return to Rithm and confirm that Manage Your Subscription shows an active product and a future renew or end date.

Choosing a plan
New plans are often selected from Rithm’s public pricing pages, referral offers, or in-app upgrade prompts. If Billing tells you another user pays for your account and you want your own subscription, you may see Select plan to get started as a subscriber.

6. Cancel your subscription but keep your data

Use this when you want to stop paying but keep clients, schedules, and notes.

  1. Go to Settings → Manage Subscription.
  2. Select Billing.
  3. Choose Cancel Plan and confirm the prompts Billing shows you.
  4. Return to Manage Your Subscription.

What to expect:

  • While cancellation is scheduled for the end of the period, you may still use Rithm until that date. The manage page may show Subscription End Date instead of Subscription Renews.
  • After the period ends, status may show that the subscription ended and that payment is needed to restart.
  • Your data remains unless you separately erase the account.

7. Erase your account (permanent)

Only use this if you want your account and personal data permanently removed.

  1. Go to Settings → Manage Subscription.
  2. Select Erase Account.
  3. Read the DANGER! warning carefully. It explains that continuing will permanently erase items such as:
  • Personal information (name, starting address, work hours, and similar)
  • Meeting schedules
  • Call notes
  • Notifications
  • Sticky notes
  • Goals
  • And that Subscriptions will be canceled
  1. Choose Back – Do not erase if you change your mind.
Or Continue – Erase account to proceed.

Important note on that screen:

NOTE: To cancel your subscription and keep your data for another day (or another team member) without erasing it, go back and select Billing → Cancel Plan.

After erase, the manage page may show status Deleted.

8. Team and company billing on the web

If you manage users for a company:

  1. Open User Accounts (when available for your role).
  2. Review the account summary (including active paid users, when shown).
  3. If you have billing permission, read the Billing capabilities list, then select Manage billing.

That opens the same Billing experience used from Manage Subscription.

On Account details, you may see phrasing such as:

  • You manage billing on this account. (with Manage)
  • Another user manages the billing on this account.
  • Your account is paid in full.
  • The account is currently paid up to {date}.

If you open Billing but someone else pays, Rithm may explain that another user currently pays for your subscription, show how long the account is paid through (or that it is fully paid), and offer Select plan if you want to subscribe on your own, plus Back.

9. Upgrading for a feature (example: Auto-Scheduler)

If a feature requires a higher plan, you may see a Sorry message explaining that you need to upgrade (for example, to Professional for auto-scheduling). Buttons typically include Return Home and Upgrade to Professional, which take you into Billing / plan management.

After some plan changes, Rithm may ask you to sign in again so the new features load correctly.

10. Quick web checklist

Goal Path
See plan and dates Settings → Manage Subscription
Change card / billing email / invoices Manage Subscription → Billing
Cancel but keep data Billing → Cancel Plan
Start or restart paid access Subscribe or Restart Subscription
Permanently remove account Erase Account (not Cancel Plan)
Company invoices & cards User Accounts → Manage billing (if permitted)

Where to find it in the Mobile UI (iPhone)

On the iPhone app, subscription management is opened from Settings, then completed on Rithm’s subscription web pages inside an in-app browser. You stay in the Rithm app experience; you do not need to hunt for a separate billing app.

Primary path (logged in)

  1. Open the Rithm iPhone app and sign in.
  2. Tap the Settings tab (gear icon) at the bottom.
  3. Expand Account.
  4. Tap Manage Account.

An in-app browser opens the same Manage Your Subscription experience used on the web (already signed in for you).

In Settings you may also see:

  • Refer a friend — opens Rithm’s referral page in the in-app browser
  • Under Account: Help and Submit Ideas
These are nearby, but Manage Account is the subscription entry point.

If your subscription has expired

You may see an error with a button labeled Tap here to restart subscription. That opens a recovery link in the in-app browser so you can restart or update billing. On the sign-in screen, expired messages may appear under a Login error: prefix. While using the app, expired service messages often begin with Rithm Service not available.

If the account was erased, you may see Account deleted.

From intro or sign-in screens:

  • Learn more about Rithm, or
  • New to Rithm?Learn more and create account

These open Rithm’s mobile signup flow in the in-app browser.

How to use it (Mobile UI)

Important difference from the Web UI

Topic Mobile behavior
Entry label Manage Account (not “Manage Subscription”)
Where actions happen In-app browser showing Rithm’s subscription / Billing pages
After you close the browser The app refreshes account status (Getting status…)
Erase Account Often not shown when you open Manage Account from the iPhone app. Prefer the web app in a full browser if you need to permanently erase an account
Native plan picker / invoice list Not built as separate iPhone-only screens—use the pages that open from Manage Account
Expired recovery Extra button: Tap here to restart subscription

Once Manage Account is open, the steps below match the web subscription experience (status, Billing, Subscribe, Restart, Cancel Plan).

1. Review your subscription status (inside Manage Account)

After tapping Manage Account, review:

  • Current Product
  • Subscription Renews or Subscription End Date
  • Account Name, Email, Status, and Quantity when shown
  • Trial messages, Expired labeling, or team billing notes such as Another team member manages billing

Close the in-app browser when finished. The app updates your account status automatically.

2. Update payment method, invoices, or billing details

  1. Settings → Account → Manage Account.
  2. On Manage Your Subscription, tap Billing.
  3. In Billing:
  • Add or remove cards
  • Update billing contact information
  • View and download invoices
  • Review subscription details
  1. Close Billing / the in-app browser when done so the app can refresh.

Use this path whenever a card is expired, a renewal failed, or finance needs a PDF invoice.

3. Add a card before a trial ends

If you still have web access during a trial and see a reminder to Add a payment method, open it (or go through Manage Account → Billing) and save a card. You typically will not be charged until the trial ends. After a card is on file, messaging may confirm you are set for when the trial converts.

4. Subscribe or restart on iPhone

From Manage Account (signed in)

  1. Open Manage Account.
  2. Tap Subscribe or Restart Subscription when those buttons appear.
  3. Complete checkout in the secure payment screens.
  4. Finish any thank-you or email verification steps shown.
  5. Dismiss the in-app browser and, if needed, sign in again.

From an expiration error

  1. Tap Tap here to restart subscription.
  2. Complete the recovery / payment steps in the in-app browser.
  3. Return to the app and sign in if prompted.

5. Cancel the plan but keep your data (iPhone)

  1. Settings → Account → Manage Account.
  2. Tap Billing.
  3. Choose Cancel Plan and confirm.
  4. Close the browser so the app refreshes.

You keep your data. Access normally continues until the end date Billing / Manage Account shows. This is the correct path if you only want to stop billing.

6. Erase account from mobile

Because Erase Account is often hidden in the in-app (mobile) Manage Account view, do one of the following if you need a permanent erase:

  • Sign in to Rithm in a regular mobile or desktop browser, go to Settings → Manage Subscription, and use Erase Account, or
  • Contact support if you cannot reach that screen

Remember: Cancel Plan ≠ erase. Cancel keeps data; erase deletes it permanently.

7. Team seats on iPhone

If another person pays for your seat, Manage Account may indicate that another team member manages billing. Ask your billing owner to update the card or cancel the company plan. You can still use Manage Account to view what Rithm shows for your access when available.

8. Quick mobile checklist

Goal Path
Open subscription management Settings → AccountManage Account
Change card / invoices / cancel keep-data Manage Account → Billing (then Cancel Plan if canceling)
Restart after expiration Tap here to restart subscription, or Manage Account → Subscribe / Restart Subscription
New account Learn more and create account / Learn more about Rithm
Permanent data erase Prefer full web browser → Manage Subscription → Erase Account

Practical tips for salespeople

  • Billing problems first, then product problems. If Rithm suddenly limits access, check the subscription end date and payment method before assuming a bug.
  • One owner for the card. On teams, decide who manages Billing so invoices and card updates are not scattered.
  • Cancel vs erase. If a teammate is leaving, canceling or removing their user access is usually safer than erasing—especially if you still need their historical notes or schedules. Erase is irreversible.
  • Trials. Add a payment method before the trial ends if you want uninterrupted access; you generally are not charged until the trial ends.
  • After plan changes. If features look wrong after an upgrade or change, sign out and sign back in (especially on the web).
  • Same destination, different doorway. Web uses Manage Subscription; iPhone uses Manage Account. Both lead into the same subscription and Billing tools.

Cancel vs erase—know the difference

These are easy to confuse, and they do very different things:

  • Cancel the plan (keep your data): Use Billing, then Cancel Plan. Your subscription stops at the end of the current billing period (or according to what Billing shows). Your clients, schedules, notes, and other data remain available for later or for another team member.
  • Erase Account: Permanently deletes your personal information and cancels subscriptions. There is no undo. Use this only when you want the account and data gone.

Need help?

If Billing or Manage Subscription does not match what you expect—especially on team accounts—use Billing questions? on the manage page when shown, open Help from Settings, or email support so they can confirm who owns the subscription and what the next renewal date is.
