They are designed for busy salespeople who want a reliable nudge before a client call, site visit, or other appointment—so you can open the app, review the client, and walk in prepared.

These alerts are local notifications on your device. Rithm schedules them on your phone based on your calendar and your settings. They are not text messages to your clients, and they are not customized emails you write for each meeting.

There are two kinds of Meeting Reminders. You can use one, both, or neither.

1. My appointments reminder

Alerts you before meetings and appointments you created yourself (manual / fixed items), including:

In-person appointments you added

Virtual appointments you added

Personal time on your schedule

When this reminder fires, the notification title is Appointment reminder.

2. First daily meeting reminder

Alerts you before the first Rithm auto-scheduled meeting of each day—the earliest incomplete meeting that Rithm’s optimizer placed on your calendar for that day (including virtual and edited auto meetings).

When this reminder fires, the notification title is First meeting reminder.

This is especially useful if Auto-Schedule builds most of your day: you get one clear “start of the day” nudge for the first visit, without a separate alert for every auto-scheduled stop that follows.

What each notification shows

Title — Appointment reminder or First meeting reminder

Subtitle — Usually the client name or organization (or “and others” if more than one client is on the item). If you changed anything, Rithm refreshes your upcoming reminders from your schedule.

There is no separate Save button for these settings. Changes are saved when you flip Enabled or choose an Alert time. The Alert menu is unavailable while that reminder type is turned off.

Allow notifications on your iPhone

Meeting Reminders only appear if iOS allows Rithm to send notifications.

When prompted, tap Turn On Reminders and allow notifications.

If you previously denied permission, open the alert’s Open Settings button (or go to iPhone Settings → Rithm) and enable notifications for the app.

If you tap Maybe Later on the permission screen, Rithm turns both Meeting Reminder types off so you can continue using the app without alerts.

Tip: Keep Focus modes and Do Not Disturb in mind. Rithm marks these alerts as time-sensitive so they are more likely to break through, but your phone’s system settings can still affect what you see and hear.

How reminders are chosen automatically

You do not create individual reminder records. After you enable a type, Rithm looks at your schedule and schedules local alerts for matching future, incomplete items.

My appointments reminder covers future incomplete items you created (manual appointments, virtual appointments, and personal time).

First daily meeting reminder covers the earliest future incomplete auto-scheduled meeting for each day.

Completed or past items are skipped.

Rithm looks ahead about three weeks when building these alerts, and there is a practical limit on how many pending notifications iOS can hold at once.

Reminders are refreshed when your schedule loads and when you leave Meeting notifications after changing settings. If you turn both reminder types off, pending Meeting Reminder notifications are cleared.

Turn Meeting Reminders off or change timing

Return to Settings → Meeting notifications.

Flip Enabled off for either or both types, or change the Alert timing.

Leave the screen so Rithm can apply the update.

A simple routine for new salespeople

Build or auto-schedule your day as usual in Rithm.

Enable First daily meeting reminder with something comfortable like 60 minutes before if most of your day is auto-scheduled.

Enable My appointments reminder if you also add fixed appointments or personal time yourself.

When an alert arrives, tap it, open the client from Schedule, skim notes, then head to the meeting.

Mark the meeting complete afterward so future reminders stay accurate.

Important differences from the Web UI

Meeting notifications live only on iPhone under Settings.
