Rithm keeps the card pointed at the stop that makes the most sense for the current time of day, and refreshes it automatically while the route is active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> Today\u2019s Route always uses <strong>today\u2019s<\/strong> visits in your local timezone. If you browse yesterday or tomorrow on the Schedule calendar, the route card still shows <strong>today<\/strong>. That is intentional\u2014so you can look ahead on the map or list without losing your live day-of guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today\u2019s Route is <strong>not<\/strong> the same as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The driving path drawn on the Schedule map for the day you are viewing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The full day list of appointments (on mobile, the <strong>Recommended Schedule<\/strong> section)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Map filters elsewhere in Rithm that draw a route for a chosen date<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those tools help you <strong>see<\/strong> the plan. Today\u2019s Route helps you <strong>work<\/strong> the plan, stop by stop.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"su-tabs su-tabs-style-default su-tabs-mobile-stack\" data-active=\"1\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" data-anchor-in-url=\"no\"><div class=\"su-tabs-nav\"><span class=\"\" data-url=\"\" data-target=\"blank\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Web UI<\/span><span class=\"\" data-url=\"\" data-target=\"blank\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Mobile UI<\/span><\/div><div class=\"su-tabs-panes\"><div class=\"su-tabs-pane su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\" data-title=\"Web UI\">\n<h2>What is Today\u2019s Route (Web)?<\/h2>\n<p>On the web Schedule, Today\u2019s Route is started with the <strong>Start Route<\/strong> button. When you turn it on, a <strong>Next Stop<\/strong> card appears near the top of the Schedule. That card highlights one stop at a time from today\u2019s visit-type appointments and meetings.<\/p>\n<p>From the card you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>See the client (or organization), scheduled time, and address<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Navigate<\/strong> for turn-by-turn directions in Google Maps<\/li>\n<li>Tap <strong>Check In<\/strong> when the visit is done (or undo completion if you marked it by mistake)<\/li>\n<li>Step through today\u2019s stops with the <strong>\u2039<\/strong> and <strong>\u203a<\/strong> arrows when you have more than one stop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While the route is active, Rithm refreshes the card about every <strong>two minutes<\/strong>, so as the day progresses the \u201cnext\u201d stop stays current\u2014even if you leave the card on a different stop for a while.<\/p>\n<h2>Where to find it<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Sign in to Rithm in your browser.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Schedule<\/strong> from the side menu (on smaller screens, use the <strong>Schedule<\/strong> item in the footer navigation).<\/li>\n<li>Look at the Schedule header near the date controls (<strong>\u2039<\/strong>, the date, <strong>\u203a<\/strong>, and <strong>Today<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Start Route<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>On a <strong>desktop<\/strong> browser, the control is a labeled button: a play-style icon plus the words <strong>Start Route<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On the <strong>web Schedule on a phone or small screen<\/strong>, the same control is usually an <strong>icon-only<\/strong> button (play-style icon) in the header\u2014there may be no \u201cStart Route\u201d text label. Tap that icon to start the route. When the route is active, the icon switches to a stop-style control.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Start Route is part of the current (beta) Schedule experience. If your account is still on the classic Schedule layout, you will not see this button. Use the modern Schedule view to access Today\u2019s Route.<\/p>\n<p>Nearby controls you may also see:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Date navigation and <strong>Today<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sales Advisor<\/strong> (if enabled for your account)\u2014a separate helper, not the same as Start Route<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to use it<\/h2>\n<h3>1. Start the route<\/h3>\n<p>Click <strong>Start Route<\/strong> (or the play icon on mobile web).<\/p>\n<p>What happens:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The button changes to <strong>End Route<\/strong> (red styling with a stop icon on desktop; stop-style icon on mobile web)<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Next Stop<\/strong> card opens below the Schedule header<\/li>\n<li>Rithm loads today\u2019s stops and picks the best \u201cnext\u201d one to show first<\/li>\n<li>While loading, you may briefly see <strong>Loading next stop\u2026<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you leave Schedule and come back later in the same browser session, Rithm remembers that the route was active and can restore the card for you.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Read the Next Stop card<\/h3>\n<p>A typical stop shows:<\/p>\n<table>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th>Area<\/th>\n<th>What you see<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Status pill<\/td>\n<td><strong>Next Stop<\/strong>, <strong>Next Stop (Incomplete)<\/strong>, <strong>Next Virtual Mtg<\/strong>, <strong>Next Virtual Mtg (Incomplete)<\/strong>, or <strong>Completed<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Counter<\/td>\n<td><strong>\u2039 N of M \u203a<\/strong> when you have more than one stop today (for example, <strong>3 of 8<\/strong>)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Client block<\/td>\n<td>Client name and, when available, organization<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Meta line<\/td>\n<td>Scheduled time in bold, then address (for example, <strong>2:30 PM \u00b7 123 Main St\u2026<\/strong>)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Actions<\/td>\n<td><strong>Navigate<\/strong> and <strong>Check In<\/strong> (or <strong>Completed<\/strong> if already done)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong>How Rithm chooses the first stop<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Prefer the first stop later than the current clock time that is still incomplete.<\/li>\n<li>If there is no upcoming incomplete stop, show the first incomplete stop from earlier in the day\u2014and the pill says <strong>(Incomplete)<\/strong> so you know you are catching up.<\/li>\n<li>If every stop is already completed, show the first stop of the day with a green <strong>Completed<\/strong> pill.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Which appointments appear on the route<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The route includes today\u2019s client visits and meetings that belong on a field path (including virtual to-dos). It does <strong>not<\/strong> include items that are not visit stops\u2014such as sticky notes, goals, or email reminders. Stops appear in time order.<\/p>\n<p>If there are no qualifying stops today, the card shows: <strong>No upcoming stops today.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>3. Move between stops<\/h3>\n<p>When you have more than one stop:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tap <strong>\u203a<\/strong> to preview the next stop<\/li>\n<li>Tap <strong>\u2039<\/strong> to go back<\/li>\n<li>The counter shows your place in the list (<strong>N of M<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li>Arrows disable at the first and last stops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Paging is useful when plans change\u2014skip ahead to a later office, or go back to an earlier incomplete visit. After you page away from the automatic \u201cnext\u201d stop, Rithm still refreshes about every two minutes; that refresh can return the card to the stop that best matches the current time. If you manually move to another stop, the two-minute timer restarts so your choice stays visible for a full refresh cycle.<\/p>\n<p>You do <strong>not<\/strong> drag-and-drop to reorder the route. Order follows the schedule times Rithm already calculated for the day.<\/p>\n<h3>4. Navigate to a stop<\/h3>\n<p>Tap <strong>Navigate<\/strong> on the card.<\/p>\n<p>Rithm opens <strong>Google Maps<\/strong> directions to the client\u2019s address in a new browser tab or window. Use that for turn-by-turn navigation on your phone or laptop.<\/p>\n<p>If the client has no usable address on file, Navigate will not open a directions link. Update the client\u2019s address in Rithm if you need driving directions next time.<\/p>\n<h3>5. Check in from the route<\/h3>\n<p><strong>When the stop is not finished yet<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Tap <strong>Check In<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the check-in form (who you saw, visit outcome, notes, and anything else your team uses).<\/li>\n<li>Save the visit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>After a successful check-in, the route card refreshes. The status can change to <strong>Completed<\/strong>, and Rithm will advance its idea of the next stop on the next refresh cycle.<\/p>\n<p>For some group or organization visits, Rithm may also ask whether you met every client (for example, a follow-up about completing the visit for all clients at that stop). Answer that prompt so the right people are marked complete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When the stop already shows Completed<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The check-in control label reads <strong>Completed<\/strong> (green).<\/li>\n<li>Tap it if you need to <strong>undo<\/strong> completion (for example, you checked in by mistake). The stop returns to incomplete, and the card updates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Check-in from the route uses the same visit recording flow you use elsewhere on Schedule; the route card is simply the fastest place to open it while you are working the day.<\/p>\n<h3>6. End the route<\/h3>\n<p>When you are done using the live next-stop guide\u2014end of day, lunch break, or you simply want a cleaner Schedule screen\u2014click <strong>End Route<\/strong> (or the stop icon on mobile web).<\/p>\n<p>The Next Stop card closes, the button returns to <strong>Start Route<\/strong>, and the automatic refresh stops. Your appointments remain on the Schedule; you have only closed the day-of route overlay.<\/p>\n<h3>Tips for the web Schedule<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Use <strong>Start Route<\/strong> when you are actively running today\u2019s calls. Use the normal agenda and map when you are planning or reviewing another day.<\/li>\n<li>Changing the calendar to another day does <strong>not<\/strong> change which stops appear on the route card\u2014those stay locked to <strong>today<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>After you check in from the route, glance at the agenda list as well; completion and notes stay in sync with the rest of Schedule.<\/li>\n<li>The map route drawn beside the agenda is a separate visual of driving order for the day you are viewing. The <strong>Start Route<\/strong> card is the interactive \u201cwhat\u2019s next\u201d tool for today.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"su-tabs-pane su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\" data-title=\"Mobile UI\">\n<h2>What is Today\u2019s Route (iPhone \/ iPad)?<\/h2>\n<p>On the Rithm iOS app, Today\u2019s Route is <strong>route mode<\/strong> on the <strong>Schedule<\/strong> tab. When you turn it on, a next-stop card appears over the Schedule map. That card walks you through <strong>today\u2019s<\/strong> visits one stop at a time.<\/p>\n<p>From the card you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>See who is next, when they are scheduled, and the address<\/li>\n<li>Tap <strong>Navigate<\/strong> to open driving directions in <strong>Waze<\/strong> or <strong>Apple Maps<\/strong> (based on your Settings)<\/li>\n<li>Tap <strong>Check In<\/strong> to record the visit (or <strong>Completed<\/strong> to undo if needed)<\/li>\n<li>Use <strong>\u2039<\/strong> and <strong>\u203a<\/strong> to page through today\u2019s stops when there is more than one<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Route mode refreshes about every <strong>two minutes<\/strong> while it is on, so the suggested next stop stays aligned with the clock as your day unfolds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How this differs from the rest of Schedule on iOS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The bottom sheet (or side list on iPad) shows your full plan for the <strong>date you selected<\/strong>, including the <strong>Recommended Schedule<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n<li>Route mode\u2019s card always uses <strong>today\u2019s<\/strong> stops, even if you picked another date on the map or calendar control.<\/li>\n<li>The map path and pins still reflect the selected date\u2019s recommended route; the floating card is your live today guide on top of that map.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Where to find it<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the Rithm app and sign in.<\/li>\n<li>Tap the <strong>Schedule<\/strong> tab at the bottom (calendar icon).<\/li>\n<li>In the top toolbar, tap the <strong>turn-right<\/strong> arrow button (accessibility label: <strong>Start route mode<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>That control sits with the other Schedule toolbar actions (such as Sales Advisor, sticky notes, and <strong>+<\/strong> for a new meeting). The screen title area shows the weekday and date in the center.<\/p>\n<p>When route mode is on, the same toolbar button becomes a filled <strong>stop<\/strong> icon (accessibility label: <strong>Stop route mode<\/strong>). Tap it again to turn the route off.<\/p>\n<p><strong>iPhone vs iPad<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On <strong>iPhone<\/strong>, the next-stop card overlays the top of the map; the schedule list stays in the bottom sheet underneath.<\/li>\n<li>On <strong>iPad<\/strong>, the card appears above the split list-and-map layout in a similar way.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Route mode can stay on across app launches until you turn it off or sign out. That way you can jump back into Schedule mid-day and pick up where you left off.<\/p>\n<h2>How to use it<\/h2>\n<h3>1. Start route mode<\/h3>\n<p>On Schedule, tap the turn-right toolbar button (<strong>Start route mode<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>What happens:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The button switches to the stop control (<strong>Stop route mode<\/strong>)<\/li>\n<li>The next-stop card appears over the map<\/li>\n<li>Rithm loads today\u2019s stops and selects the best next stop<\/li>\n<li>While loading with no stops yet, you may see <strong>Your next stop is\u2026<\/strong> with a spinner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If nothing qualifies for today\u2019s route, the card shows: <strong>No upcoming stops today.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>2. Items that are not field stops\u2014such as sticky notes\u2014do not appear on this card.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wording difference vs web:<\/strong> On iOS the catch-up labels say <strong>Not Completed<\/strong>; on the web they say <strong>Incomplete<\/strong>. The meaning is the same.<\/p>\n<h3>3. Move between stops<\/h3>\n<p>When you have multiple stops today:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tap <strong>\u203a<\/strong> to look at a later stop<\/li>\n<li>Tap <strong>\u2039<\/strong> to go back<\/li>\n<li>The middle label shows <strong>N of M<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Previous is disabled on stop 1; next is disabled on the last stop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Use this when you rearrange your afternoon on the fly\u2014jump ahead to a closer office, then come back. After you page away, the two-minute refresh can eventually return the card to the stop that best matches the current time. Manually changing stops restarts that timer so your selection stays up for a full cycle.<\/p>\n<p>There is no drag-to-reorder on the route card. Order comes from the day\u2019s scheduled times.<\/p>\n<h3>4. Navigate to a stop<\/h3>\n<p>Tap <strong>Navigate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Rithm opens your preferred driving app:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Waze<\/strong> (default), or<\/li>\n<li><strong>Apple Maps<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To choose the app: open <strong>Settings<\/strong> in Rithm and set <strong>Driving directions<\/strong> to <strong>Waze<\/strong> or <strong>Apple Maps<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Directions use the client\u2019s location (and, for Apple Maps, your current location as the start). If location or address data is missing, directions may not open\u2014confirm the client address in Rithm and that Location services are available when needed.<\/p>\n<p>Navigate opens the external maps app; it does not automatically pan the in-app Schedule map to that pin.<\/p>\n<h3>5. Check in from the route<\/h3>\n<p><strong>When the stop is not finished<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Tap <strong>Check In<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Check In<\/strong> screen opens (full screen over the Schedule chrome).<\/li>\n<li>Record the visit details your team uses\u2014for example:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Who did you see?<\/strong> (Doctor, Office Manager, Nurse \/ MA, Front Desk, Nobody (busy), and similar options)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Outcome<\/strong> (Discussed Product, Sampled, Left Information, Follow-up Needed, Lunch Only, No Access, and similar options)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Client Notes<\/strong>, last visit notes, and optional <strong>Quick Notes<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Tap <strong>Completed<\/strong> to save (the button may show <strong>Saving\u2026<\/strong> while it works).<\/li>\n<li>Confirm success screens such as <strong>Visit Completed<\/strong> or <strong>Visit Recorded<\/strong>, then <strong>Done<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Group \/ multi-client stops<\/strong><br \/>\nIf the stop is for more than one client, Rithm may ask <strong>Completed for every client?<\/strong> after you save. Choose the option that matches what happened (for example, yes for all, only some, or that you need to come back). That keeps each person at the office correctly marked.<\/p>\n<p>If a stop cannot open the check-in form (rare\u2014usually a missing client link), Rithm may fall back to the meeting \/ notes editor so you can still update the appointment.<\/p>\n<p>You may also see a warning if the client is marked <strong>Do not visit<\/strong>\u2014read it carefully before finishing the call.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When the stop already shows Completed<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The action label reads <strong>Completed<\/strong> with a filled green checkmark.<\/li>\n<li>Tap it to mark the stop incomplete again if you need to correct a mistake. The card and Schedule list refresh afterward.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Check-in from the route is the same visit recording experience you use from schedule rows elsewhere; the card simply puts it one tap away while you are driving the day.<\/p>\n<h3>6. Stop route mode<\/h3>\n<p>Tap the stop icon in the toolbar (<strong>Stop route mode<\/strong>) when you no longer need the floating next-stop card.<\/p>\n<p>The card hides and the automatic refresh stops. Your Schedule list, map, and <strong>Recommended Schedule<\/strong> remain available. Turn route mode back on anytime with the turn-right button.<\/p>\n<h3>Working with the rest of Schedule on iOS<\/h3>\n<p>While route mode is on, you can still:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scroll the bottom sheet (iPhone) or list (iPad) for <strong>Notifications<\/strong>, <strong>My appointments<\/strong>, <strong>Recommended Schedule<\/strong>, nearby clients, and related sections<\/li>\n<li>Open a client from a list row for full detail<\/li>\n<li>Reschedule or edit notes from list rows when you need more than the quick route actions<\/li>\n<li>Pan and zoom the map underneath the card<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Remember: changing the selected date updates the list and map for that date, but the route card continues to show <strong>today<\/strong>.
